My favorite memories in nature are always from skiing in the Colorado mountains. One of my favorites was a simple day skiing with friends and family. We grabbed the first chair up, everyone still waking up and joking around. At the top, the sun was just coming over the ridge, and the snow looked perfect.

We all took off down the run together, making fresh tracks and shouting to each other as we went. Nothing huge happened—it was just one of those easy, fun mornings where the weather is great, the snow is soft, and you’re with people you like.
